At Beam Support, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to live safely, develop confidence, and achieve their full potential.
We provide high-quality supported accommodation, outreach services, and community-based support designed to help individuals build independence, improve wellbeing, and create brighter futures.
Whether supporting a young person leaving care, an adult experiencing social isolation, a family requiring additional assistance, or a housing provider seeking tenancy sustainment support, our dedicated team delivers flexible, person-centred services that create meaningful and lasting outcomes.
Our mission is to support young people between the ages of 16 to 25 years old in reaching their full potential in life. We do this by providing young people with an enabling family environment which will support them to feel cared for, in safe residential homes, so that they can gain independent living skills in order for them to become productive members of society. The support team incorporates fully vetted professionals who work collaboratively to ensure that we provide an enabling family environment to help the young people who are placed with us.
Beam Support is an experienced provider of supported accommodation and outreach services, supporting young people, adults, families, housing providers, local authorities, healthcare professionals, and community organisations.
Our approach combines professional expertise with the warmth, consistency, and encouragement of a family environment. We believe that positive relationships, practical support, and personalised guidance provide the foundation for lasting success.
With over 20 years of experience, our team works collaboratively with individuals and professionals to promote safety, stability, personal growth, and independence.

Our ethos is to promote the values of healthy family lifestyle and provide young people with structure, personal space, respect and a relaxing environment which fosters a safe, comfortable and enabling family environment for young people.
Our homes accommodate three to four young people. This ensures that the quality of our service is maintained within the home and the young person can benefit from a tailored and specialised support.
The homes that we accept will be matched to the other young people within the homes to ensure positive relationships.
The young person’s achievements and successes will be celebrated to encourage their development and boost their self- esteem.
Beam Support will foster comradery, open communication and transparency.
Beam Support’s developmental strategy not only incorporates a fully vetted team of professionals such as educators, mentors and keyworkers who collectively provide 24 hours supervision within the home, but we also provide a nurturing environment which supports a stimulating family environment.
The young people within our home are provided with opportunities for developing their full potential. Their development covers areas which include, but are not limited to, their emotional health, physical health, education and training, healthy social interactions and independent living skills, such as budgeting, shopping, managing bank accounts, cooking, cleaning and personal hygiene.
Social interactions are encouraged through activities such as meeting with friends, playing board games with other young people within the home, table tennis, playing musical instruments, going to the cinema, or attending local clubs and home outings.
Our mentors are experienced in working with young people, helping them to gain confidence and independence in a caring and understanding environment.
Our keyworker approach is to provide practical and emotional support that fosters trusting relationships between the keyworkers and the young people. Thereby enabling the young people with confidence which builds their self-esteem and helps them achieve the best outcomes.
The young people who are placed with Beam Support have access to the different professionals according to their needs and interest. Each young person receives a minimum of 5 hours per week, in 1 on 1 support and guidance in the areas outlined above. This further enables the young people reach their full potential as individuals.
Beam Support operates five homes across Harrow, each providing a safe, stable and nurturing environment for our young people. Harrow is a leafy, cosmopolitan suburb of London with a rich historical background, tracing its roots as far back as the era of King Henry VIII. The borough offers beautiful scenery alongside excellent local amenities.
Harrow benefits from strong transport links and is approximately 15 minutes from Central London via the Metropolitan Line from Harrow-on-the-Hill station. Young people also have access to a wide range of buses and trains, as well as local beauty shops, hairdressers, barbers, a cinema and various shopping options.
Our homes are located within easy reach of schools, Further Education colleges, the University of Westminster, Northwick Park Hospital, and both St. Ann’s and St. George’s shopping centres. There are also several gyms nearby, along with parks and open spaces suitable for cycling, football and outdoor recreation.
Within each supported accommodation home, every young person has their own bedroom with space to relax, study or enjoy leisure activities. They also have access to shared facilities including a kitchen, bathroom, dining area and lounge, with additional toilets available across different floors.
As part of our progression pathway, once a young person has gained sufficient independence and no longer requires 24-hour support, they may move into a more independent shared flat. Beam Support can continue to provide ongoing help through outreach support, ensuring young people still receive personalised guidance tailored to their individual needs as they transition towards full independence.
